Wentworth College follows the standard New Zealand school term structure with four terms per year. Please note these dates are subject to change - always check with the school office for the most up-to-date information.
Term 1 - 2026
Wednesday 28 January - Thursday 2 April 2026 (College). Monday 2 Feb - Thursday 2 April 2026 (Primary).
Term 2
Monday 20 April - Friday 3 July 2026. Includes King's Birthday (1 June).
Term 3
Monday 27 July - Friday 25 September 2026.
Term 4
Monday 12 October - Thursday 3 December 2026. Includes Labour Day (26 Oct) and Prize-giving.

Monday 26 July - Friday 24 September 2027.
Term 4
Monday 11 October - Thursday 2 December 2027. Includes Labour Day (25 Oct) and Prize-giving.

Primary School (Years 1-6): 9:00am - 3:10pm
College (Years 7-13): 8:40am - 3:20pm
Important Notes
New College students begin on Orientation Day - Friday 22 January 2027
Primary Students begin on Tuesday 2 February 2027
Cambridge examination periods run October-November for senior students
School holidays align with Auckland Anniversary and other regional public holidays with 3 Weeks in the July Holidays
